Actors Alicia Silverstone, Michael Pitt and Ato Essandoh have joined the cast of the upcoming Netflix movie ” Reptile ”.

Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro is headlining the crime thriller, which will also star singer-actor Justin Timberlake, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Del Toro will play a hardened detective who, after the brutal murder of a young real estate agent, tries to uncover the truth in a case where nothing is as it seems, and in doing so dismantles the illusions of his own life.

” Reptile ” will mark the feature debut of Grant Singer, the prolific music video director whose collaborators include The Weeknd and Taylor Swift.

Silverstone will play Del Toro’s wife, while Pitt has been touted as “a man so obsessed with murder that he starts a podcast around the case, mingling with the detective.”

Essandoh will play an officer working with Del Toro.

Actors Frances Fisher and Eric Bogosian also join the cast of the film.
